Day 01 - Airport - Negombo

Day 02 - Negombo - Kandy


  • Kandy City tour
  • Located in the central hills, Kandy was the capital of the country’s last kingdom. Among the many places of historical, religious, cultural and ecological significance is the Temple of the Tooth where the Buddha’s tooth relic is enshrined, the 200-year-old Kandy Lake, remains of the 700 year old royal palace, a royal forest reserve, several pieces of 18th and 19th century colonial architecture, historic Buddhist and Hindu temples, the country’s largest botanic garden and the tea museum in the Hantane hills.

  • Veddha Village Camp Experience
  • The Veddas are Sri Lankan indigenous people. Modern Veddha’s Neolithic ancestors inhabited this island as far back as 10,000 BC as suggested by archaeological evidence & believed to be descendants of the Stone Age inhabitants of Sri Lanka. Being forest dwellers they are essentially hunters and skilled at fishing, living mainly on venison, fish and other jungle provisions. Vaddas are a truly interesting group of people who will keep you mesmerized with their song, dance, stories, and skills.
  • Be welcomed by the Vedda chief who can be seen with his axe hanging from his shoulder and bow slung behind him. A friendly group of people who are willing to show you around their dwellings, accompany you on a jungle walk where they will demonstrate their hunting and fishing techniques and show you the jungle caves. At night you will be treated to a gourmet BBQ dinner, amidst a roaring camp fire and the sounds of Vedda song and dance. An overnight stay at the Vedda camp is recommended for those who wish to discover the true life style and culture of these forest folk, to interact with them and be part of their activities.

Day 03 - Mahiyanganaya Veddha Village Camp Experience


  • Pick up from Kandy and drive to Veddha Village Meet the Vaddha Leader, briefing and a chat Lunch at Veddha Village Camp BBQ Dinner
  • Accommodation at the camp

Day 04 - Mahiyanganaya Veddha Village Camp Experience


  • Breakfast at the camp
  • Morning walk in the mountains to see caves with Veddhas
  • Back to Veddha Village camp to freshen up
  • Visit a Veddha dwellings
  • Lunch at the camp
  • Take a bush walk in the jungle with Veddhas. Veddha’s will demonstrate their Hunting methods

Day 05 - Mahiyanganaya Veddha Village Camp Experience

Day 06 - 07 - Kandy - Adams Peak - Hatton


  • Adams Peak Trekking
  • Venerated by four religions, Adam’s Peak is at 2,243m above sea level, where pilgrims flock to climb during the night in the special season of January to April. It is near the hill country town of Hatton, 123km from Colombo. The spectacular sunrise seen from the peak rewards pilgrims who climb to pay respect to the footprint set in rock at the summit.
  • The climb is up uneven steps of granite and cement and climbers are encouraged by others to keep going; the descent is just as taxing. A ritual, after worship, is to ring the bell, not on the first visit, but only on subsequent visits. The various faiths regard the footprint as representing their own beliefs, so it is a symbol of the multi-cultural character of Sri Lanka.

Day 08 - 09 - Hatton - Yala


  • Transfer from Hatton to Yala
  • Game drive in Yala then transfer back to Camp
  • Leisure in the Camp & thereafter proceed for a Safari of the Yala National Park by jeep.
  • Covering nearly 130,000 ha along the south east coast of Sri Lanka, Yala is a strict nature reserve and a national park. Its landscape comprises of light forest, scrub and grasslands, shallow lakes and lagoons. The most visited park in the country is home to elephants, the world’s largest concentration of leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer, sambur, crocodiles, langurs and a myriad.

Day 10 - 12 - Yala - Beach Hotel

  • Enjoy your days relaxing on the beach exploring the verdant landscape of the interior. A windy stretch rugged cliffs and stunning beach of Sri Lanka’s southern coast, all protected by a vast enclosing reef, you’ll find a collection of the island’s best beaches and a small collection of blissful resorts. The waters are the ideal place for surfing, diving & simply relaxing.
